Show your backside!

The second nicest back-end under my roof (for the record, the Mrs. is smokin' hot)

Funny thing is, this was originally gonna be the front of the bass, but the pickguard would have covered up a lot of the cool figures, so I switched the boards just before Jake started cutting.

My last DIY projects, in order of finishing.

Beautiful! That's some mighty fine DIY work there, any professional top name boutique Luthier would be proud to have created those. The figuring on that mk5-4f looks 3 meters deep! I don't ave a clue on what kind of wood the 7 string has but I want some!

Mal - I'll take your word for it on the Mrs. But in my book this bass is smokin' hot! Good call on flipping this wood to the back side, hate to see it covered by a pickguard.

Some 'bic booty.....

Always love me some 'bic!
BTW I don't know if you ever saw it, but in a different thread a while back I anointed you as the person most likely to receive my Alembics if I ever had to find a good home for them. Your post about your relationship with Mica and the respect you have for what Alembic stands for was great!
Play in good health brother!
