Show your Band on Stage !!!

last night was HORRIBLE!!!! i knew it was going to go downhill before the night even started when the singer came into rehersle in the morning with the soarest throat ever. we got to the gig and she was an hour and a half late. the band had to play off of the house music coming out of the PAs (we were playing at a dance club) then she finally got there and she seemed a bit out there. theres this big ordeal im not going to get into about how much of a ::word i cant say:: she is. she only sang one song and she was struggeling with that, fell out of key all the time and her voice cracked a lot and she was getting so much feedback also.

wich brings me to my next point, do u guys remember that "if u HAD to choose 3 pedals what would it be" thread? well im lucky i grabbed 3 pedals before i left, a flanger, a delay, and a wah. i was able to very nicely contribute to the house music with it, and for the majority of the time i was just slapping the E to the kick drum and let the my feet do the work :p

edit: did i mention that my tuner broke while i was setting up and the guitar player forgot his also so we had to tune off of each other just to make sure we were tuned to something lol.

also the stage we were on was beyond small, as u can see, our amps had to go on teh floor infront of us, so i had to set my pedals ontop of my amp :p

Hi.

Sat-Su was our last gig as a quartett and as a suprise to everyone, our first as a trio.

We went to play a prearranged 60 yr gig and since we got to start early, our 3*45 was over pretty early. The singer sucked a bit as usual, but nothing major, and this being his last gig with us, it really didn't matter. It was good in the audiences point of wiew.

So the somewhere during the gig our drummer had a call that a biker friend of ours was having his 50 yr party just a 10 km from the party we were playing at. So we decided to surprice the "birthday boy", loaded a small backline to my van and played a few short sets to a modest, but a hard-rocking audience.

A few pics from the trio gig.

what really bums me out is when i look into the crowd and dont see anybody enjoying the music like in repyoset609 pics, people are just standing there.. but in Todd Stanley's pics, i see guys moshing around hell, even t-birds's band got people fighting lol

(that wasnt an attack on you replyostet609, i was just using your pic as an example, u cant see it in my pics but nobody even showed up lol.)

Our latest pictures the room was smaller than my bedroom, we crammed 30 people in there, the people screaming along and moshing was making it hard to play haha, but we also had half of the kids lining the walls looking bored. It's what kids do. I don't really expect everyone to be moving, different people enjoy music differently. Plus it rules when there are like 200 kids at a show standing with a big empty circle in the middle with 20 of us just losing it.

i dont expect any people moshing at our shows lol, the direction this band is going in will be kind of like evanescnce meets pink floyd lol

it's cool, but you cant really mosh to our music, as we have only one breakdown in about 13 songs, and that breakdown is a joke because people kept telling us to put breakdowns in a song. the pics are very small shows too, as well as ones where we are opening.

oh lol, i was confused by the pics cuz the way the band was moving looked like they would be moshing if they werent the ones playing lol.
