Here's my James Tyler 4 string bass.

I bought it sight-unseen from The Gallery, the best bass shop in London and the home of Sei basses. I went for it purely on Tyler's reputation and the fact that I'd only seen them in pictures and classifieds here on TB.

It's the best 4 string bass that I've ever owned. It sounds great, feels great and the Demeter circuit shapes the sound superbly. OK, the headstock may be ugly, but when a bass is as great as this, who cares
