SHOW YOUR BLACK BASSES!!!

Here is my black bass (Dingwall Voodoo, Villex-loaded), and is indeed one of my favorite ones. She has plain Jane looks but under the hood lies one of the finest basses

How long did it take you to get used to the fanned frets? I had a play on one in a shop once and while the tension across the strings was incredibly even, I found it a real stretch on the lowest frets.

Oh well, in for a penny... I guess I must always have had a subconscious thing for black basses, so here's two of mine.

My current workhorse, Stingray V with matching headstock:

And a 1979 Rickenbacker 4001 All Black (for sale, if anyone's interested!):

Hey fullrangebass, that Dingwall Voodoo is sweet as dutch cheese. I noticed she's got different knobs on her in the pics, which ones are on there now? I really dig those tapered plastic knobs in the 2nd pic. I also noticed your stacked knob is in the top knob slot (knob slot, lol) in one pic and in the bottom in the other. Were these mods you did?

This thread is cult! I love it.

I would have never expected that love for black basses is so huge among us.

And I'm really suprised of how many "all black" basses are around!

That Quake bass is sooooo smoothe, awesome. Any sound clips of the G# Bass Below?
