the pup at the bridge position was inserted by the previous owner, which turned it into a passive/active through a pull/push system.

No pic, just a thing....I was all antsy too.The first bass I lusted after when I was a teenager was those Fender Deluxe Active Jazz's in black/tort. Still my favorite color combo, but turns out I was more of a P guy.
This is my current number #1. Parts P. Fender Am Pro neck & tuners. Fender tort guard and vintage style knobs. Squier body. EMG GZR pups. About to replace the bridge with a Fender HiMass, then it'll be complete.
