Show your Dark Starred Basses

This doesn't sound right at all. I play a Dark Starred DeArmond bass myself and I love it. Please write me and describe the problem in detail.

It sounds fantastic for the 10 minutes she let me play on it it's just minor cosmetic issues +1 for Darkstars

It's not a Ric, it's custom built. Would've had a standard Ric fingerboard (paduak?) if it was a real 4005.

Strange things the 4005, when I was looking for a Ric back in the '70's, nobody wanted them, now lots of people drool over them...including me!

Well this is my SX, it comes with amp, so it is starter bass pack. However, this is the copy of Fender Jazz Bass, although i don't know which year exactly i think it's copy of 1964 fender jazz bass.

Which bass are you refering to? One is Candy red with satin clear. The other is supposed to look like the faded Pino red.

Thanks. I was referring to the candy red. It doesn't have the typical metallic finish. Love it.

You can't see it in the photos, but I used a white base with gold pearl on top of that, then the candy red before the final clear coats.
