I could sell the QP's to fund the darks... or just add the dark as a bridge pup, then again The QP could be the bridge pup!!!

On this topic,
I never thought that Darkstars looked right when paired with other pups. 1 or 2 Darkstars look natural, but not when a combo.

I wouldn't care... It is my FrankenBass, I'm gunna add a 51 ri pbass neck for my comfort (I like-a the maple!) And I was going to add a 2ed pbass pup anyways
It is the sound I'm looking for not the look!
Also I was wondering about a Tele bass with darks? Like the squire with the neck humbucker, not the vintage fenders LOL

Gah! Every time you post that, I think about doing bad(good? probabaly!) things to my Squier.....
Of course, the leftover mudbuck could be put in a P or J.....

I actually kinda like the mudbucker at the neck though, but I usually have it coil tapped.

I would do it and put the mudbucker as the neck pup of a pbass and add '62 jazz knob config. so you could keep the 2 knobs!

I had a Dirnt bass with a Fender Sting bass neck, excellent combo. Much better than the stock neck and a perfect fit. The body was just too heavy. I do regret getting rid of it though.
I don't have it yet but it is the Squire version. Black with the white star, that is why I don't care about modding it!
I actually have the Fender version in Vintage white on my gas list but the price... 
Even used those things are freakin expensive. I want to have the 51ri neck because maple is just so much more comfortable. Not because of the fender logo, if I can find one and it is cheap I'll get the Squire CV 50's pbass neck. I also want to put a regular bridge cover on so I can rest my hand while picking.
And to put this back on topic I would like to have 3 pups:
DS/p/p or p/p/DS
