This 63 Jaguar was gifted to my friend's dad for his help on Jackson Browne's album hold out. It has rocked an untold number of shows and sessions, really unbelievably cool guitar.
I think it was rosewood but just dark/old maybe a little stained from years of play. Also how do we feel about road worn amps here?Cool! Looks to have an ebony fb but maybe it's just dark rosewood. Nice to see a post from you Sam!Thanks for posting -

This is on my bench atm and is pretty battle torn, McIntosh mc30.
That looks cool AF. Is it a HiFi amp? Those are wonderful amps. I used to have an MC240 like this one- I should have kept it!

McIntosh stuff new and old is pretty much the top of the heep as for hifi. These mc-30's are certainly no exception be it they may have been put to any number of tasks over the years. That looks cool AF. Is it a HiFi amp?
Just looked them up. Holy balls they’re expensive.I restored one of those and it was pretty tops,
basically the same as the mc-30 but stereo with a ss rectifier.

I guess I should post a bass here huh.

This is oddly my favorite p bass (I own and have owned many) but for me this thing encompasses everything a p should do and does it well.
I didn't think much of this one at first and used it as a shop bass living it's days in an amp repair shop with the fluctuating temperature and humidity of our building the neck was always solid which is what sprung me to give it a proper "keeper" status.
At that point I took it home gave it it's current rough pink over blue paint mismatched covers and bang sticker.
Other fun things about this one, it has a 5mm truss adjustment which I've never seen on a squier as they're usually 4mm. Formally owned by two different pro bassists and was traded to me for some setup work.

I really like that...a lot actually, yet I'm internally conflicted. I've always felt Jazz bass sound goes "quack" and Precision bass sound goes "boom" yet there is a duck and a "bang" sticker and it has my head all messed up.I guess I should post a bass here huh.
