I found this 1981 G & L L-1000 at a pawn shop around 1994, for some reason every square inch of it is checked, yellowed, cracked or distressed in some way, at the time it had non functioning aftermarket pickups in it but I bought it anyway, I took it to Mike Lull to put the Ernie Ball pickup and preamp in it and he recognized it as formerly belonging to a fairly well known regional Metal player.

That pale tort guard! Broken tips and shrunk away from the neck a bit... perfect!
Looks great on that yellowed finish. A VERY good relic job.

Yes, a Teisco Del Rey NB-1 that someone put a fretless fb on. Probably a cool sounding fret-less.
