SHOW YOUR DISTRESSED FINISHES!

Quite the bomb. That white/tort P sure looks like a 'relic'd' refin to me. Some off details as well.
Love the Ric and the Kay.
Yeah, the Kay is interesting. It's kind of like "what should we do for a pick guard/pickup/controls mount?" "I got it, Jeff hand me that odd scrap of Mother of Dinette counter top." "Yes, that's it." Peg head is cool too.

What did that sticker say?

I looovvve LP blue gone green! That last T-bird where just the bridge cover preserved the color is cool! If it's kept out of direct sunlight it stays blue...? The neck wear on the cream colored fender is awesome, I'd love to get my hands on that for a test-drive....so cool!

I was looking around on Reverb and normally there’s plenty of basses to share, but lately I’m seeing some super clean 60’s gear that doesn’t quite fit the scope of this thread. There is a sweet little lefty in LPB that on first look of the front is pretty clean, but once you see the 3/4 view, there’s some nice wear on the edges.

Oh yah - that definitely counts! Checking, amber-ing and flaking are us! :)

That’s about it for tonight. So much clean stuff out there right now it’s hard to find examples for the thread. There’s a mint 66 P in LPB that’s just drop dead gorgeous. Hard to find a mark on it.

Here’s one more to close out for the evening. A 62 J in LPB with some nice wear and tan lines.
