Me too! I came close to buying one just like it at one point in that same colour. :thumbsup: Not sure what went on with that hole above the 11th fret - if you care to address it, the way to do it would be using a flat-blade to skim the top layer off the fb and collect the shavings/dust. (and then re-lubing the fb - it's something I always do when buying a used bass along with dressing the frets) After dong the whole fb you'll have enough fb dust to mix with superglue to fill that hole. It might still be a bit noticeable but it will mostly blend in.

In the world of "distressed finishes", player wear is understandable but someone attempted to drill a hole in the fb for whatever reason is in a different category. :)

My guess is that it was shot with a BB gun.

That is a pellet, the same size as a bb. The hole is compacted and perfectly round, and exactly the size. I’ll never know for sure ….
