I've seen a couple others with similar 'outsider art' treatment on the body. One cowboy theme and the other Jesus. Dragon is a first for me.

I'll say! Nice that it was initialed by the "artist". Possibly inspired by this... could also inspire a new term... "that looks pretty, shonky..."

Looks very good - except the Freon forced checking looks totally fake - the crackle/spiderweb checking isn't really seen on the real vintage ones and is an immediate giveaway. Freezer method looks far more authentic and gives the long line checking as seen on the rel ones, particularly the metallics.

Personally, I would have gone with the doll eyes that open and shut. Better for bass face when tilting the headstock.
