I thought I'd share my G&L family with everyone, unfortunately I don't have photos of all of them grouped....so here's a series of individual sets. Some of the photos are from the folks I bought them from, some are mine...

Let's start with the first G&L I ever owned, a beautiful amber L2000 I bought from CraigB! Still love this bass..

Hey Gary, I'm about 99% sure I used to own that Climax for a brief couple of weeks. That's one of the most beautiful finishes I've ever seen on a bass. The model itself turned out not to be quite my thing, but I almost kept it just because it was so purdy!

Glad to see it wound up with another TB GLeek.

Thanks guys, I love these basses, and actually rotate them through my band practices. I definitely have my favorites (i'm mainly an SB2 guy), but I bring a different bass to every rehearsel, so they all get equal time. I find that it actually helps my technique, I'm constantly having to "re-adjust" to different necks, tone etc.

Fats, that Climax may have been yours. It's a beautiful bass, I'm not generally a fan of "colored" basses, I like natural finishes, but that white is beautiful. It's almost like a stain, you can see the wood grain through it....

I bought an ASAT last year after always wanting one, then had to sell it due to financial hardship. The stars recently aligned and I was able to purchase a used one recently. The odd thing is, it is better than the previous one that I purchased new. I think the one I bought new was NOS, as it had a 3 bolt neck. My newly acquired ASAT has 6 bolts, birdseye fretboard, and a more transparent finish that is less yellow and reall shows off the ash grain.
