Actually we had a GBE Series 2 rack mount head before the GBE-500, but that was way before Roger's time :eek: I'll have to find a picture. Released NAMM 1998.

Love the combo of my 4x10 & 212T. I originally used both cabs with just the GBE750 at 2ohm's and I literally could shake an entire med/small club with the low end and still have the master volume set at a 10 o'clock position. Since I now own a GBE600 head, I use the GBE750 and 4x10 with effects and the GBE600 and 212T for clean low end. Best gear I have ever personally owned or tried. Try it out You will not be disappointed.

That's a nice looking, compact rig. ...even if we lost a cabinet sale to the folks at EA (they're good people...Larry and the crew).

But a question though- I see a DB in the background. Do you use this primarily as a DB rig? If so, what in particular do you like about the head and the EA cab too? Do you find that design of cab to be a good match for the DB?

Roger glad to see you have your 600 in a case similar to mine or mine to yours. Got mine kinda cheap online, hard plastic says CNB on front cover. So, I was reading some threads here recently on how adamant folks are about leaving room for their amp fans. There's maybe an inch or more from the side of my case to the amp. On my GK I have it with a BBE Maximizer on top in one SKB case, maybe 1/2 to 3/4 inch of space above that fan. But Ive played both these amps even outdoors in hot, humid, Houston in July-August, in the open sunlight, never had a problem with either but it was always in the back of my mind. Plus I would just turn the GB fan to hi. Oh and if you read this, thanks for the tip to find the Neox 212T, they were cool to reply to me with a decent price but I actaully found one locally for abit less $$. Im gonna use the 212 w/GBE600 at a club gig this Friday nite. Looking forward to opening her up to see how she runs. Will try to post some pics soon.

I have a Neo-Pak 3.5 that I won at this year's BassUp event at the Atlanta Bass Gallery. I'm trying to decide on a cabinet or cabinets. I'm currently thinking about an LS210T/LS115B stack. I've also considered a NEOX-210T or NEOX-212T, but I can get two LS cabinets for the price of one NEOX. Plus the different speaker sizes may give me a fuller sound? Any opinions on either configuration?

I use a 212 with my Neo and am very happy. Jazz trio, big band, rock covers, no PA, it's all good. The "little" 350 watt Neo has plenty of power for the 212. Loud, full, nice.

I have debated a 112 for smaller gigs, but the 212 is nice and full, even at low volumes and I can't really afford another cab at this time. If I could find a used GB Neo112 I'd probably get it for those times.

Sansamp is sneaking into the picture, but I am torn as to whether to keep it since I'm in love with the multitude of tones the GBE750 offers. I'm looking to add an 8ohm avatar neo 2x10 to go along with the delta 2x10 pictured above.
