NAMM show acquisition... 
Benavente DC5 (double cut 5). Lightweight mahogany body, walnut binding around a flamed maple board, flamed walnut top and headstock, "pyramid" neck where it's three strips of maple and then two strips of walnut on the back so the seams overlap. Set neck 24 fret 34" scale. Twin narrow aperature dual coil pickups, two band preamp with passive mode and passive tone control. Currently vol-vol, but I'll probably convert it to vol-blend at some point.

What is this one? I don't think I've seen it before. That fretboard is something special.
That would be a 6 string custom hollow jazz bass that Michael Dolan built for me last year. Thats a birdseye maple finger board with a crazy quilt/spalt/flame maple top !
Man, that thing is insane. You know, I never really was that much into green basses... until I saw all yours. Nice!
Here's my 70's Epi. It's either a Newport or Embassy, not sure which. I read somewhere that the Embassy was the Newport's full scale cousin, so it's probably the Embassy, but a lot of photos I've seen people have tagged theirs as Newports, so I'm completely lost. It's hard to find any info on these guys.
I'm used to the shorty basses ('76 Musicmaster is my number one), so with this guy I tune it down to D and slap a capo on the 2nd fret, feels just like a shortscale with a really long headstock.
