I still have my vintage Sunn Concert head and 115BH that I bought back in 1977. For larger venues, I would also use a Peavey 2x15.

More recently I use a combo Crate/Sunn rig with a Crate B265, 4x10, and the Sunn 1x15.

EAW VB-125 cab, vintage 80s, loaded with an Eminence Kappalite 3015.

Two of those EAWs and a Sunn Concert Bass (later, an SVT blue-line) were my rig in high school. They brought the thump.

I went ahead and bought one and it rocks. I will not be missing my Yamaha 2-15", not when I sell it atleast.
