been a while since I played a 15 cab, but recently I have been giving an Ampeg PF500/115HE rig a workout to see if fits my tone goals.

After playing 12's for a while now (last 5 or so years), this PF rig reminds me how much I really do like the sound of 15's. Just a wonderful big and deep beefy tone to 'em.

there it is, to the right of the minor stack 'o Mesa 12s

Just picked p a second VS-115. All i have at the moment is a cellphone pic from last night's gig, stacked with my older VS-115 and Little Bastard. I grabbed it on the way to the gig.

The newer one has some differences, the logo, the port is bigger, it only has Speakon jacks and it is made in UK instead of China.

I've been playing 1x15s pretty much exclusively for the last 5 years. Played an old SWR Workingman 4x10 for four years before that.

Live I use two, but in the studio I use an old Mesa Road Ready 1x15, the Dietz/TL606 design. Sounds great with every amp (V4-B, Traynor TS-50B, 400-RB, '64 Bassman) I've thrown at it. Also projects really well live, so I have no problem being heard with my V4-B w/ 6550s over our guitarist and his 100 watt Park/Marshall head and 4x12 cab.
