Bubingba top, Aggie pre, Bart pickups, phenolic fingerboard. This thing SINGS!
Tim Cole said:Wrong, NONE of the Modulus necks have truss rods, nor are they needed. The newer ones have "relief rods" which you can change the amount of bow, but Modulus is very careful NOT to call them truss rods, and will tell you straight up that they do nothing for stability. They're not needed. I've owned 6 Modulus basses, 5 without the rod, gigged tons with them, and never had any problems whatsoever. They are as stable as it gets. Nothing to even give a second thought to IMO.

I'm assuming those pics are from the website, who knows when they were taken. If he was there recently I would like to know some details on the Aggie stuff they have on the floor. Like I said- 4 hour drive one way. I really want to hear some Aguilar amps in person though.Figjam said:There are aguilar cabs in that picture right there.

Fixed it for you.rockstarbassist said:Like that matters...
My Q5 sounds a hundred times different than any Lakland or Spector or wood-based "upper end" bass.

Opinions differ, as a matter of fact every ct I have heard sounds like poo.
