Show Your Orange Basses!

Should've never sold this one:

But I'm glad I snagged this one:

This is the uber rare Aria Pro II SBR150. Essentially the SB1000 but with 2 pickups. This is unlined fretless. The finish is tastefully metallic, i.e. not from a distance!

This is from the early 90's and was NOT made in the Matsumoku factory so there are some slight differences in this vs the original. For example the bridge is not recessed into the body, and it is a more standard type bridge as opposed to the raw piece of brass the Matsumoku Arias featured.

This is the ebay seller photo as I have not had a chance to snap this on my own yet.

Overall, an amazing bass. And orange!

I absolutely love this bass. It gets more compliments than any other instrument I own. There's something about the ash grain, translucent orange finish and bright maple neck that make it a stunner.

The bridge cover doesn't cover the bridge from what I'm seeing, the angle maybe?

You're right it doesn't, but that's where it's supposed to be - at least if you're using an early 60's Gibson for inspiration, as Mike was.
