Show your PA rack

And some of the biggest pay days are weddings with speakers on sticks that cost less than a grand.
Just sayin'.
PA costs are a horses for courses kind of thing, it's not about the expense of the gear, it's about having the appropriate gear for the job.

The expensive band uses subs at every gig. Even the ones where we are playing for less than 50 people. The cheap band doesn't own any subs at all.

Well said. I dont understand why someone that invests a ton of money into Presonus,QSC/JBL powered cabs, subs and monitors feels they can charge more than the other guy with older gear. Arent we paying for the quality of the the soundman, not how impressive the gear is?If thats the case i am going to get me all the new expensive stuff and charge 600.00 a night, oh wait, i am not that good so the sound may suck anyway....Now dont get me wrong, i DO like the above products i mentioned. a friend of mine runs a pair of K12 tops and the matching subs with a Presonus board running from an Ipad and it sounds great! I just think that a price shouldnt be based on the gear, but on the rep of the person behind the gear. Back to our program....More pics!!!!
