Scientists are still learning about the COVID-19 virus and you are correct that it has been believed to be non-transferable from pets to humans and vice a versa. However, yesterday was The first report from South China of a Pomeranian dying of COVID-19. No autopsy has been performed to confirm.

CBS has also recently reported of a confirmed case of a tiger from the Bronx.

We have been walking our dogs regularly and I’m thinking we’re going to begin using diaper wipes their feet after they come in.

Meanwhile, I F'd up. We have little Coda-Bear somewhat isolated in my music room (we have cats, we figured accidents better off in a single room...he's doing damn good in that regard).
I did not adequately protect my Chicago At Carnegie Hall album...a Christmas gift from my parents, 1971. The box is now in bad shape (the below pic is "the before" ).

I just moved a Captain Beyond Sufficiently Breathless LP (Xmas 1973) in a glass frame...he's been trying that one. I can see him biting through the glass...eventually. He's into everything.

As far as wiping dogs' feet...standard fare here (no shoes in the house, either). Wife is an OCD clean freak. The previous 3 dogs knew to wait. They even raised their paws.
