He's named after Mel Gibson's son in the original Mad Max film. It was the only fitting name from the series that suited him. His dogs name in the second Road Warrior film was "Dog" so that wouldn't work and Nothing like "Toe Cutter" worked either.

My beloved, faithful 12 year old sheltie Ava that is showing her age. She still leads the way on the start of a hike but can barely make it to the end of the mile trail. We now park a different car at the start and end of the hike so we can drive her back. Of course I don't complain now either! Ha!

Within a week or two, I'll be sharing another spoiled pup to this thread! We are rescuing a gorgeous, 4-5 month old blue eyed pittie girl - she was spayed yesterday, so she'll get some time to recover before coming home to us. We're super excited!
