So sorry to hear @MJ5150. That’s awful.

We may need a dose of memes.

In other news, I’m running out of towels due to the torrential rain here but we’re getting the hang of this cosy day in stuff.

I hear you on the towel shortage. We moved to a new area where our yard has red clay. We’ve resorted to using service wipes for a paw wipe downs.

We have squirrels nearby and a conker/horsenut tree over the back of the garden. A few weeks ago we watched them decimate the nuts from the tree and bury them all over… Maren has been finding them and digging them out - I’d just finally got my grass looking good this year!! Muddy paws and snoots all round.

@the harp unstrung I once got my dog a dog.
My then GF (who had a dog, and our dogs were great friends) and I split up. My dog was pretty down about it. So I got him a dog of his own. Many years ago...

So since no one said grand-pups don't count I'll share this one.

On the right is my son/daughter in law's golden retriever/golden doodle mix Pacha. He's a great dog and they've had him for about 2 years now. On the left is the new family addition, Cici. They were fostering her because the original family had a new baby that was allergic and they had to rehome her. They foster-failed and are keeping her now. She's about a year old and a wonderful dog too.

Daughter in law made halloween bandanas for them to announce the "new" addition formally to us.
