So Sat was the first meetup day for my son's new pup Cici and our daughter's dog Mya.
All went well, and they all get along. But as you can see from the shadows in the foreground it took some bribes with treats to get them to sit for a group photo.

I’ve got to say that sleeping like this isn’t exactly easy. A slight head shift is rewarded by a wet jowl raking over one’s cheek. But I wouldn’t change it for the world.

My wife and oldest daughter took time out this afternoon for some girl time shopping.

These photos always put a smile on my face. Just sayin.
I was wondering. Do you all have a “voice” that you attribute to your dogs?
When we anthropomorphize our dog and act like he’s speaking English, he does so in a manner akin to Goliath’s voice in the old “Davey and Goliath” animated children’s television series. Kind of goofy, not so smart (although he was clearly smarter than Davey). It suits him.
The cat’s “voice” is much more ornery.
