My sweet Roxy is blind. She started bleeding in her urine and gums and now her eyes are filled with blood. Very low platelet count. I'm being torn apart watching her try to move around. I just now gave her the first two pills of treatment.

My 3 little guys and I are pulling for you, Roxy! Lots of love coming at you from France!

One extra advantage to having smaller dogs is that you can take them with you in the cabin of the airplane. I brought all 3 of mine with me from Chicago to Paris. Didn't have to check them as luggage.

She looks like my Amelia! Aw! I hope she gets better!

ETA - I hope she gets better regardless of any resemblance to my poopies...

So sorry to hear about Roxy. Hope she gets better!

When I was growing up (age 8-20) we had a Black Lab Mix named Chooch that was crazy for rocks like this dog.
He chased and fetched and carried rocks his whole life, everything from small stones to cinder blocks like in the pic.
By the time he was ten years old, his teeth were worn flat, kind of looked like human teeth.
One of the reasons I would never have a Labrador, way too over the top focused on fetching something.

Our lab is broken or on strike. You throw a ball and he just looks up at you. But two houses away there’s a lab that harasses anyone in sight with a drooled up tennis ball.
