Sat night in Bayfield, WI. Our son and daughter in law were at a show and we were on puppy duty so took a walk downtown. They wanted to pose on the city harbor breakwater so we accommodated them.

New to me. Saving to my Dogs pic folder. Awesome story!
It took 15 days because she had to get spayed, treated for a little cough, and her first heartworm treatment (it's very common in the Carolinas), but we took her home this evening! We've had her for less than 3 hours, and the majority of that has been in the car or Petco. But she's been very sweet. And sleepy at times; I'm sure a shelter isn't the best place to get rest.
We're naming her Patti, as in Smith. She has to be a female punk rocker.
