She's a good little girl. Keep her in your thoughts if you can.

I'm sorry for this. Hopefully having some time to prepare will ease the blow a bit.

Giving her lots of cuddle time. She’s still happy to get them. Pythagoras the cat wanted in.

Some dogs are just good leaders and help their dog friends find their way (sometimes they help keep their humans going in the right direction also).
My daughters dog Chula looks all over the house for Loki when she comes to visit and I cry all over again.
Chula (and a number of other fosters) learned so much from my Loki.
I turn my head quick sometimes and swear for a second I saw him trotting out of his woods in my back yard.
Still having a hard time letting go.

It is indeed very difficult, and sadly, I can relate. But as you said, we don't like to see our pets suffer. Positive vibes sent.
