Actually, when my dog barks, I take a look out the windows to the street and my yard. There is usually something going on like people in the street or some animal visiting in my yard. Yep, he is a good watchdog and I appreciate it when he gives me a heads up.

Lol! That's very cool. Doesn't matter how big or little the pooch, the instinct to guard or warn the pack will always be there. Yeah, I think the meme is bit inaccurate. Most dogs have a reason to bark. I just thought it was a cute/manipulation meme the way he's sitting.

Yep...most dogs are wired to warn the pack if they feel there is an intruder in their domain.

Nice day out on the trails. The pollen and plants are popping to life. Got a nice walk in today before the rain came. Elmer is loving all the plants to sniff.
