About the only thing I miss from the States were the daily dog walks through the Coconino National Forest that surrounded my house in Flagstaff. Now I live in the heart of a city center. But my dogs? They LOVE it. LOTS of other dogs. LOTS of dog markings to smell and overmark. Zero complaints from them.

one of my dogs did a really cool thing today. i was soo proud of her for it.
my dogs are escape artists. if there is a tiny gap anywhere in the fence, they're gonna find it, and exploit it. there are tons of places i've had to close up holes under the fence, between the fences behind the shed, the gate, etc.
today, kuro finaly succeeded in digging a new hole under the fence. as soon as she did, sneakers scratched and barked at the door, to alert me. she also led me to the spot where her sister got out. luckily, she acted fast, and i got hold of kuro before she was out of ear shot. sneakers gets an extra treat tonight
