I cut one of her claws too far. I’ve never done it that bad and feel horrible.
I throw a ball in the public tennis court for 10-15 mins every month or so. Seems to keep the claws sub weapons grade.

Probably shouldn't do it much more than that on a hard surface. He gets most of his predator instinct games on grass.

We've had to do more cutting/trimming since moving up into the mountains. Took for granted how much maintenance happens just from regular sidewalk strolls...
 
I have never understood people who refused to allow their dogs on their furniture. The living room furniture I bought was specifically chosen for two reasons: 1) comfort for me, and 2) survivability from dogs.
Simple reason is I don't want dog hair on my clothes. Often don't want to smell like a dog, either. Pretty sure those are the 2 reasons dog beds were invented.
