Ha! Is that Loki in your avatar?Loki has that exact same sweater! ...and he is 11 yrs old as well.
Yup, got him from the Austin Shelter when he was about a year old. My son got the sweater on Etsy I think....hand knit by some lady in South America.Ha! Is that Loki in your avatar?
Whose dog is that?
You get to babysit all the bull dogs!
I'm jealous. I'd actually pay to babysit bullies!
I have a confession to make. I'm a little bit obsessed with paws, especially dog paws. I also like feline paws but I prefer dog paws. I like to massage and squeeze them, I just like touching them and my dogs love it. How many of you do the same? I also like to hold my dogs hands when we're on the couch watching TV. It's a way to show them affection I guess, and they like it a lot.

A good looking pup you have there!
Ditto...This is called "Roaching". Dogs will only lay like this when they are comfortable and feel totally safe.
That's something I do with my dogs only, of course.Paws are some of the most sensitive parts of the dog's body. Just like human feet, you walk on 'em all day, but they're still ticklish. A dog giving you it's paws means that they feel very safe with you and that they trust you. A new dog, or a dog that's had a bad life isn't going to be giving you up it's paws that easy, and it might even get you bit. But, if you have a good relationship with your animals, it shouldn't be a problem.
My dogs do the same thing, but I don't even have a dedicated treat drawer. All the doggy stuff is on a low forniture they can easily access, but they don't. This is odd, especially for the little one (Tito), because he's the most ravenous little god I've ever seen in my life. He eats like a machine, it's actually pretty creepy to watch when eating.
Yes. Since I feed my dogs with raw food everybody keep asking me about their fur. Do you use a chiller to freeze/sterilize the meat? That's crucial to avoid infections, parasites etc.I feed Loki raw meat diet. We grind 150 pounds at a time. It made a huge difference in his skin and fur.
