Sometimes a girl just needs her dragon.

When our Odie became overweight, the vet suggested we (obviously) change his diet. So we switched him to the Hills weight control dog food. But it was also suggested we don't give him the store-bought dog treats since they are full of fat. Now he gets frozen cut green beans (which he loves) and Honey Nut Cheerios. He dropped the weight pretty quickly and became a much more energetic and happy dog.

I had to say goodbye to my best bud of almost 15 years last night. He cane down with pancreatitis last Friday and seemed to get a little better, but as the week went on he became weaker and weaker. Normally when he was down and out he'd somehow find the energy to get on his feet and run towards me with a toy when I'd visit him at my parents.

Best dog ever, goodnight Blue.

Sorry for to hear about your friend Blue. If it wasn't for outliving our pets, having them would be perfect.

Amen.

Sorry about Blue, brother. He looked like a great guy.

He truly was.

Thanks guys. Maude (the pug) knows something is up. My partner and I brought her round to see off her big pal, she sat next to him for a while then went round the family. She down on his bed while we were and my partner stayed in the house. I work from home and she's currently lying at my feet with a paw on my foot.

My wife just makes a little extra carrots, green beans, etc from our dinner. Also ice cube chips (not full size, don't want to crack their teeth).

G'by Blue. Happy trails. Sorry he had to go.

My son's family had to say goodbye to their dog Jimmer yesterday too. Years of anti-seizure meds and a probable brain tumor left him unable to walk and do any normal doggie things, so they made the difficult choice. He was a sweet natured dog.

Bye Jimmer. Happy trails to you too.
