OMG, another Gilbert! My senior guy Sparky (16 this month) was named Gilbert when I rescued him as an 18 month old. All I could visualize with "Gilbert" was "Gilbert Gottfried". Since I never wanted that face in my mind again, I immediately changed his name to Sparky. This is the first Gilbert I've come across since then.
My Pyrs Buzzard and Bijou used to love a snow day.
Horrible visit to the vet today and I don’t know how many more days we have. But here’s one from happier days.

I can't imagine. Hopefully the last days are filled with joy and snuggles.
It’s a running joke in the house. Her eyes are pretty weak and she bumps into things and I have to use my phone flashlight so she can find her bed at night. But somehow she can still catch marshmallows I toss. That’s been a “not vet recommend” favorite for years.
