My brother's springer spaniel "Suzie" (thirteen years old) went to the rainbow bridge a few days ago. To say she was a part of the family would be the understatement of the year. Both my brother and his wife are devastated, as it would appear, is their other dog "Wallie" who seems to know exactly what has happened. According to my brother, "Wally" has not been quite his usual self for a few days. Here he is "guarding" his old friend's grave.
Hopefully, in time, the three of them will come to terms with their loss.
