I was taking care of a friend's dog named Thor, a very big, muscular, tough pitbull. Every day I went 3 times to give him food and take him outside. One of the last days I found a door like this. He just destroyed the door, I don't know why.

Good read. I'm used to thinking about the relationship more in terms of pack dynamics. But the love gene as by-catch in selective breeding for other traits makes perfect sense to me. Sure don't contradict any observations I can think of off the top of my head.This program really helped me understand why they tolerate us human beans. In essence: We didn't domesticate canines – they domesticated us.
