Show your tidy pedalboard!

Yeah, I've been searching for the perfect delay/reverb combo (for real estate reasons, even the pedal itself has to be a certain size to fit, which is why the SA Collider is out) and so far the Caverns was the best I could come up with. I'm mostly only using the Spring on the reverb side and the delay is a nice, no-frills tape-y thing (which can do the oscillation stuff quite well for a digital pedal).

The Cavens isn't hard to dial in the correct tempo you want in seconds, so if those seconds aren't crutial I'd recommend it to you. It's got the Spring thing, shimmer, and modulated on the verb side. All modes are quite pleasing to my ears.

Works great for me. When it's off, it's true bypass. When it's on, it adds a small amount of compression to the signal that seems to increase slightly with each additional step you drop. The tracking is accurate. I've used it down to 5 steps with good results. It also has a setting that adds a sub-octave to your dry signal. And you can configure the footswitch between toggle and momentary. And it's construction is solid.

Pretty much the only thing that's missing for me is that I'd like the ability to go up a step or two instead of just down.

This is the most important pedal on my tidyboard... keeps me from schlepping 2 more basses with me and switching them between songs. I take a second Drop as a backup to every gig.

Can't say I'm a big fan of that finish... would have liked a brushed metal finish better than that "dusty sparkle". But hey... it's all about what's on the inside, right?

So the pedal board is almost complete, I will post the build process in another thread once it is totally complete (Thursday or Friday - I'm waiting for the arrival of the custom decals/branding). But all in all, I think it ended up pretty tidy .

Just kidding! Ive been looking at the HX Stomp as well as an update to my Bass Pod XT at some point and noticed that both Sweetwater and Musicians Friend have their own "custom"color schemes. A Space Gray for Sweetwater and a very cool blue for MF.

It’s difficult to say without seeing your board. A pic would help.

For myself, I try to keep all leads as short as possible, and use stick-on cable tie holders on the underside of the board to hold the leads in place.

Nice, Louis! I think I recognize that Fulltone OCD, and eliminating that one created just enough room to allow me to fit all my pedals on a 20” x 7” board. Does this qualify as tidy and tiny?

Tidy, definitely - and certainly tiny-ish, at the very least.

Yep. I was wondering how long it would take for someone to notice and comment on that. The answer was 9 minutes. The yellow one, which is an original (and was the very first pedal I ever bought), I use as an always on ‘sweetener’ pedal. The other one, which is a copy that I bought as a backup, I decided to keep on the board after I accidentally discovered it works great as an instant “P-bass with flats and the tone rolled way down” pedal for when I’m playing a bass that can’t cop that sound well on its own. The tone knob on that one is ‘backwards’ (it gets brighter as you turn it counter-clockwise) and it is actually rolled off about 70% or so.

You’re right, but it’s minuscule compared to my other option at the moment, which is a Furman you could park a Mini Cooper on that weighs 18lbs with the lid without any pedals on it!
