I rearranged my board to make room for the Electroharmonix Bass MicroSynth i plan to buy next. Is the upper left enough room for it? Havent seen one in person but pics look pretty big. I took the send/returns out on modulated items to uncomplicate things.

Switched things up with some new pedals. Recently got the Eventide Powermax for under the board and couldn't be happier with it. Amazed with how much I could perfectly fit on a Metro 20 board.
Going to try this again. Having trouble with attaching from phone.

Finally getting close to a layout that is going to work well.
Signal cabling above, power cabling below.
"LightDims" dimming stick-on dots over the LEDs (and some yellow masking tape, which works well) because I get migraines if I look at bright flashing lights for too long.

On the underside of the board in the post above, I'm using 7/16" nylon cable clamps fastened into threaded holes. (Aluminum is *super easy* to thread: just drill the correct size hole for the tap, and then run the tap into the hole with the drill.) Towards the bottom of the board (top of the photo), I've got a few of those stick-on cable zip-tie mounts holding down individual cables.

It's very possible. I think the Bass Micro Synth is about the same size as POG2, so, it'll be close. Check the depth of the B3 and the specs for the BMS...

...Which ranks up there with coolest moves ever..It is a fantastic design, and damn near bomb-proof. I just bought it and the shipper lost it for over a week. When it arrived, the box literally looked like the delivery truck had driven over it a couple of times, but the board and all the pedals inside it were completely unscathed! I read the specs before I bought it, but it seemed an awful lot smaller/lighter in my head than it is in reality!Bottom line, I can’t imagine a better board for a tour, but using it for local stuff is kinda like taking a Sherman tank to go down the street for milk at the mini-mart...
Taking that board out with only one pedal would be worth the effort- once; if just for the commentary.
You’re right, it would definitely be worth it! It hadn’t crossed my mind, but now that I’m thinking about it I keep laughing because in my head it’s like a scene out of Spinal Tap.
Nice, simple rig with lot's 'o tone. I like it.
Not sure how many BC-1X's Boss has sold, but that is a seriously great compressor! I've got one on my "acoustic" show board. Here's the caveat with the BC-1X, it's not transparent, it definitely adds some color to your tone. Even though I'm way more into the transparent comps(Cali76, FEA DB-CL, Empress), I totally dig what the BC-1X adds! To my ears, it just kind of polishes everything up and gives it a nice sheen.
I've got a BB-1X, too. It's no joke. It's a super solid preamp. It would probably be more widely used if it had an XLR out on there somewhere. I'm guessing most players that have one are using it as a drive pedal and not a preamp.
Here's my "acoustic" show rig...
Bass(usually a Dingwall NG-3)->StroboStomp HD(not my fave tuner, but it works)->BC-1X(love what it adds)->PH-3(needed some kind of effect)->Straight Ahead Mini Power Amp(It's a little workhorse)->PJB C4(another little workhorse)
