Just ordered a Rockboard Duo 2.0 to put my Barber Linden, Effectrode LA-1A and a tuner on. Hopefully it arrives this week. Should be a sweet little tone board. These pedals just sitting here not on a board, and I won't be selling them. Got a Cioks 4 to put underneath to power it.

Dude, both pedals were like this. This is video when I tried to get in touch with them, but then after sending email they said, I have to go through Digitech, because DOD is part of Digitech. So I send email to Digitech and then they said I have to go through Harman-JBL, because they are under them, so I send them a video and they said:

"Hi Goran,

I have actually forwarded this before to our team and they should have contacted you for further assistance but no worries. I sent a follow up with our team to assist you.

We apologize for the inconvenience."

Never head from anybody again.
After this vid I would send 4 replacement pieces across the world just so customer can say what a nice customer support.

I gave away both pedal to a kid that could maybe use them... such a disappointment

If (when?) mine breaks I will ask a friend to 3D print this plastic part for me. I would not buy this pedal again though.

The instructions from DOD are 'do not open the pedal!'. But when I got mine it had 'the gap' (as I described in my post #1660) and if I had not opened it and corrected the calibration it surely would have broken already.

Mine was not calibrated correctly from the factory either. I love the size of the DOD, but the assembly is slightly loose due to poor parts tolerance, and the travel doesn't feel as nice as the Dunlop DVP4 Volume (X) Mini or Ernie Ball 40th Anniversary VP Jr that I've used in the past.

I have the DOD volume pedal. It's still working fine after maybe 6 months. I had to make a small riser because of those adjustment screws on the bottom, but other than that, it's working fine. I suppose I should take care to not abuse it if it's fragile.

Thank you for posting that link. I've been out of the effects loop for about four years, in which time I've learnt:
i) Chase Bliss released their "exp"
ii) Chase Bliss went direct-only some time in 2022.

Unfortunately, I don't have any experience of that pedal itself, so my post here is of little-to-no value.
But I find it interesting that CBA's own overview video only shows it being operated by hand, rather than by foot. (Okay, that allows the viewer to see better what's going on on a video, but still...)

I wonder how good I'd be able to get at making small changes using just my foot.

On another of my boards, I use an expression controller that I made about five years ago using a slightly larger diameter knob borrowed from some production pedal (MXR?), attached to a potentiometer in a Hammond 1590LB case, with the axle of the pot vertical.

That requires a similar to-and-fro motion to operate when using feet, and I've found that I lack the fine control that I can otherwise achieve when using a treadle.
Granted, the wheel on the CBA exp is of even greater diameter and therefore easier to make fine adjustments on.
And I'm not saying that others can't achieve the fine motor control required. And I don't doubt for a second that Joel Korte and his team worked hard to develop a very practical, usable device... but I'm also curious about other people's IRL experiences with CBA's "exp" on floor-based boards.

Yeah, there are people who are going to master that forwards-backwards control, absolutely. My feet and legs just don't work like that, sadly. (Although that guy seems to be quite happy with broad-brush foot movements on the pedal, which is sitting on a thick, springy carpet, to get his experimental bloops... not that there's anything wrong with that per se... )
If it were a little more in my price range at the moment, I'd splash the USD 199 plus shipping plus 50% of VAT/customs to get first-hand experience of the exp.
Hoping that there are some TBers who've already got it who can report on their experiences.

There's also a Source Audio ZIO Bass to sit on the cab
There is a D'Addario dual riser mount and using the 9v MXR adapter off the cable snake power cable and the Laney footswitch controls the DB500H Tube Overdrive I/O and signal mute functions.

The Saturnworks Tap Switch controls the Fuzzz and Phase 90 available on the Poly Blue Octave when set up in Mono operation.

The Mooer SPARK Echo (Tape Delay+Reverb & Dry Mix) is sent to the effects loop.

Are running without a cab, just into monitors, headphones, IEM etc.? Or does the pic just happen to not show the cab? I have a Digbeth 200 with a 410 cab.

I have just acquired the Digbeth DB500H and was going to get either the DBV212-4 or DBV410-4 cabinet. However, I was also looking at some other very diverse options in a very populated market of used cabs. It has been raining in Austin for 3 days and my newly acquired cabinet is still in the backseat, but...

...this one is as clean as the one I found in Houston for $200.00. It also came with an extra original speaker in its box!

There was one of those for sale in my area before Xmas. I was tempted to get it just because. Figured I had spent enough $$$ on bass gear in fiscal 2023. But it is fiscal 2024 now.....

I wanted something that would work really well for some synthy dubby textures and just straight ahead blues in an experimental Jazz/Blues trio. The HPF on the ZIO Bass Preamp will do nicely to really tighten up the extended low end that the H8X8 delivers!
