Finally put my practice board together tidily enough to show the world. Very likely going to end up using the Blumes as a boost (instead of the Broughton mini) and maybe replace the fuzz end of things with an old DG Duality I'm currently not using.

I’ve been using Rockboards and love the combination of the patchbays and runners meaning cables can be kept super tidy.

I should have mentioned too that the patchbays allow for easily integrating outboard pedals. The Life pedal’s expression port is connected to the patchbay so, if I feel like it, I can add an outboard expression pedal. Likewise, one CIOKS power socket is connected to the patchbay, as is the Life pedal out and the Calamity in, so that I can add a JC Wah to the chain without changing any other wiring. If I’m not using the JC Wah I just add a 10cm patch cable to bridge the patchbay ports and complete the circuit between the Life pedal and Calamity.

great board .. I’m curious about your signal path here. I was just trying to find the happy spot between the parabellum v2 and the heliotropic. Your set up has a lot more going on compared to what I’m doing.
I've set out my signal path out below. As a note, it's my practice board so it's geared towards giving me as much of a breadth of options as possible in one place rather than being a set and forget gig board.
The SLO can get quite dirty so I typically use that and just one other dirt pedal at a time. The main exception to this is stacking the SLO, MBD2 and one other dirt pedal as I find the MBD2 can stack well in most combinations. This means I don't usually use the Parabellum v2 and Heliotropic together.
I note too that the SLO and Parabellum v2 overlap a fair bit so, to make the pairing/tube stacking work, I’m not using the latter to its full potential. The SLO has too many useful features for me to take off the end of my chain but I love the Parabellum v2 so was willing to sacrifice some of its range to make it work in this setup. I may move it to another board with no tubes in the future though if I have a heavy board needing some tube goodness.
If I did want to use the Heliotropic and Parabellum v2 together often, I would probably run the Paraballum v2 into the Heliotropic to give the fuzz even more content to work with, rather than in reverse and running the risk of muffling the fuzz with the tubiness of the Parabellum v2. It’s a tough call though and making everything work together (or trying at least) can be a crazy rabbit hole.

Whilst the top side of my board has definitely met the 'tidy' criteria for a while now, I couldn't say the same about the underside; as the board expanded, I added some daisy chains and it all became a little slapdash.
Well, got a new power supply, and re-jigged the order of a few things up top. Last year was a rush of pedals, but this one will be significantly quieter on that front, so I felt confident using the zip ties once it was all rigged up!

My pedalboard hasn't changed much... but recently I just pulled out the soldering iron, and made patch cables with sp400/sp550-S square connectors and mogami cables... and replaced all the premade patch cables. It was cable managed, but didn't look clean. The pedaltrain isn't great for hiding cables, but I just wanted to reduce visible cables from the top. It also feels like it shaved a few pounds by replacing the thicker premade patch cables.
Just in case anyone questions why I have 2 DI's... the Khan goes to FOH, and the VTBass DI is only used for my bassboard with transducers to feel my bass... since I mainly play on a silent stage. The bassboard is great for silent practice at home. Sounds and feels loud, but without bothering anyone at home.

Since this thread got bumped... here is an update. I added 2 more items (Micro-Thumpinator and a Boostbot Level Meter). Also, changed the C14 Male power connectors on the KHAN and ISO Power Supply to Down Angle connectors so the cables are less visable. Looking back, I should have shopped more brands of pedalboards... but the Pedaltrain Classic Jr. does a good job in hiding and managing cables.
I'm a little obsessed with cable management, and keeping my playing space cable free... not just in music gear... but in other things too...

Ah maybe don't bother, once you get the Tech21 XB everything will change anyways.
XB driver will go to my small pedalboard...I plan to keep this one...
"Tidy" just refers to the visible part of the pedalboard, right?
