All power and signal cables are each isolated.

Signal chain is ZIO to Bass Butler to HX One for Drives and then using four cable method with modulation, delay and reverb in the amp effects loop. The EXP is used for the distortion channel blend on the Orange Bass Butler.

The Deputy 1 Controller is made for the HX One and has 8 preset midi messages programmed and a TRS jack for a Boss FS-7 for #9 & Tuner preset.

I don't think this could be any more tidy. Maybe custom patch cables...

I wasn't a fan of the Pedalnetics original location on the Stomp - the buttons were just too high and I couldn't get to the knobs/buttons as easy as I liked. Putting it on the wireless works for me.

Finally is brand new. Thanks @Sushi Box FX

Very nice and tidy board, my compliments as a fellow pedalboard-wiring OCD guy :) also the colours are nice: blue colours on the HX stomp, petersson and the power supply... and the red on the khan, vt bass, thumpinator, cali76 and powersupply.. (well almost, pink suits red)

so... you use the Khan for FOH and VT bass for the bassboard...

-> And you use the VT Bass for nothing else? Just a bassboard equalizer?

-> What do the buttons on your powersupply do? Are those for the left and right eyes ? ;-)

-> The micro thumpinator cuts sub lows, do you use that on your FOH DI out and not on the bass-board out?

-> What does the A/B Switch do?

And i just realized i change my pedalboard like every 1 or 2 years. :smug: Now it's completely different design compared to my previous home-made aluminium one.

And when i made that picture of my current pedalboard, i probably will have to make another new pedalboard because i bought a new fancy multi-fx that needs a home too.... :roflmao: that will be complete pedalboard redesign number 4 in like 3 years? It might be an addiction.. Well.. Let's say i like designing and building things! haha.

I did use the VT Bass DI only as a boost to my bassboard subamp, but now I'm utilizing the VT Bass DI as an FX Loop block in presets on HX Stomp through the Send/Return... and the bassboard still works. However, when I use an HX Stomp preset that doesn't use the VT Bass DI FX Loop block, the bassboard doesn't work. That's there the A/B switch comes in. When I switch to those presets I have to bypass the Send/Return through the A/B switch to get my bassboard thumping again.

The buttons on the powersupply is to scroll through presets on my HX Stomp. The Micro Thumpinator is mainly for FOH, and does what it's suppose to do.... prevents speaker excursions from low frequencies the subs can't handle.

I’ll take a better one but this was it a while ago, not much has changed except I put a locking knob on the spectra. I had to put slightly taller feet on the board to make room for the DI, which is a bit big, but sounds great so…

I am always on a quest of making my bass gear being as light as possible. (and still sounding good)

One day i came across a random doormat i bought sometime...
and thought.. Velcro sticks to it. So.. Why not?

* It's even lighter then my previous aluminium home made one. (half the weight? or maybe one third?)
* Less height and unused sides of the doormat can be folded, it saves space when transporting. = i could buy a smaller suitcase where i put all my stuff in.. double weight wins..
* It's actually not a fixed pedalboard, very easy to change things and diagnose.

Although it was not easy to make it look clean and tidy, the cable hose and short cables made it look quite nice.

I just laid a second XLR cable in last night and then removed two 1/4" TS send/return cables for EFX loop.

As mentioned, I did have (2) 1/4" TS cables (I/O) for a loop. You don't recommend that. Why?

I've never experienced any issues of any kind running a buffered EFX Loop over a 20' span in a cable snake with good cables.

Ah. You have not everything tied together? just the effectsloop cables? I thought it was all tied together in a cable hose, like i have. I never have used effects loop on my amp. Why you use it? Does it make a difference compared to just plugging it into amp input in your case?
