Shure digital wireless

I have the Shure PGX 1 which worked fine for me but I switched to the Line6 rack mounted unit. I would shop around first before buying since technology changes so quickly.....
PGX 1 and PGXD are completely different things. The new PGXD is Shure's first attempt at digital wireless. It was a really terrible move on their part, not naming it something completely different.
My guitar palyer just bought one, sounds great, transmitter seems more durable than the Line 6 series. Thinking of getting one
I can't speak for the Shure, but I have a Line 6 Relay G50, and it just rocks! I've A/B'ed it with a high quality cable (George L's),a nd heard no difference in tone/sound. It's rugged (all metal construction) and has taken my abuse easily. One thing that would be a deciding factor (other than sound and durability), for me, is that the G50 operates in the 2.4 GHz range, which makes it world compatible, and the Shure is in the 900MHz range, which I believe can only be used in North America. The reason this would be the game changer for me, is that I play all around the world, and need the ability to use my wireless everywhere.

Are not Internet Wi-Fi devices and newer cordless phones in the 2.4 GHz range too? Could that cause interference problems?
I've used it all over the place where there were cordless phones, wi-fi hot spots, etc... and never had even a hiccup. No interference, no drop outs, nothing but consitently excellent tone.

I debated between the Shure and Line 6, finally decided on the Line 6 even though my guitar palyer had the Shure. Biggest factors the Line 6 all metal vs plastic on Shure, different frequency range for the Line 6 which in theory is usable world wide.
Used the Line 6 G-90 at the World Trade Center in Boston for a computer corporate gig. The wireless worked great especially considering the amount of electronic gear that was in use and on display at the same time we played and that the frequency was in the Wi-Fi band. My guitar player has the new Shure Digital Wireless and initally experienced some drop out issues, unit was about a month old. Not sure if it was a cable or frequency issue.
