Double Bass Shure KSM141

Shure KSM141 - anyone try? Someone recommended this for upright, saying you could use it in a lot of different ways, including padded and stuck between the tailpiece and the top - as well as the obvious short-boom type of mounting. It's switchable between cardioid and omni.

I am curious about this for a bass application. It has received glaringly positive reviews for vocals, acoustic guitar and snare mic'ing. I'm curious if anyone has used one for bass mic'ing.
