for the image of punk sid was miles ahead. playing ability is a whole other story. while i vehemently hate pete and FOB im assuming he can actually play. unlike sid who was turned off on stage.

At least Pete Wentz can play bass and keep up with the band. The Sex Pistols had to turn Sid down a majority of the time cause he couldent keep up. Skillwise: Pete Wentz: total badass: Sid Vicious.

Regardless of whether or not Wentz can play bass, if that guy wasn't married he'd be getting p**** left and right no questions asked. I think his celebrity status and P pulling abilities make him the winner.

Sid wasn't famous for whining about his personal problems; the only reason anyone knows who Pete Wentz is is because he's an attention whore who will do and say anything to get headlines.
Wentz has also made other bands that I cant stand famous, such as Gym Class Heroes, Cobra Starship, and The Academy Is... .

I'll take a murderous dope fiend like Sid any day.
