Absolutely.Thats why I'm getting rid of all of my other pickups.These things do everything I need them to.
Should be fun to compare these clips I'll be making against my current set of pickups: Custom Reed James set of Neo Reverse P pickups in EMG35 shells.
I wouldn't be so sure.I've played alot of 35 shaped pickups from Barts,Nordys,RJneos,Bass Culture,Kent Armstrong (US),the illusive SGDs, Delanos and a few other custom winders and personally I think these new multi coils eat their lunch.The only pickups I've used that come close are the Delano quad coils.

These are cool. I may know someone more than willing to test out a J-MM four string set, if you know what I mean....

I'm building the Multi-coils in MusicMan, EMG Size 35, and working on a Split P model.
I can also do some other soapbar sizes.
I'm not going to do J sized MCs at this time.
Marko has already made a fine looking J model.

I'm (mostly) joking. I know things cost money, and while I want new pickups for this particular bass, it's not in the budget.
Besides, I kind of want to have someone rout this bass for a dual MM anyway

Well I was able to sell the Sentell multi coils.I put the sidewinder humbucker set I got from Big T in my new bass.I've only had this bass for about 3 weeks and its already had 3 sets of pickups in it.I'm going to put down the soldering iron for a while.At least until I get another set of multis from Big T.My old bass has the new MCs in it and they arn't going anywhere.In fact it gives me a nice chance to do a comparison of the multi coils with a bit more conventional pickups.I am really enjoying your work Big T.
I have 2 sets of the 8 coil MM Multi-coils.
One pair is wound more or less Wal specs with 42 awg wire.
The other set is a bit hotter wound with 43 awg.
I have tested both sets, and like them both best wired parallel.
If anyone needs any, shoot me a conversation.
