Silly pawn shop (Meatbox content)

I just got my tax return this week and went to my local pawn shop to see if they had any good deals. I'm going through their pedals and I see a DOD Meatbox for $29.95. I knew that some DOD pedals were highly sought after so I checked on my phone real quick and saw that most of those can go from $150-$300 on ebay. So I went ahead and bought the pedal. As they handed me the money, I said to the cashier, "now that you sold me that for $30 why don't you look it up on eBay and tell me how much you'll give me to buy it back." The cashier had a weird look on his face like I was pulling his chain but he looked it up and his jaw dropped. He had the manager come over and told him about it. His jaw dropped as well. They ended up offering me $125 to buy it back. The manager said it was priced low because he was under the impression that most DOD stuff was cheap.

That's my story. I figured if anybody could appreciate it it was you guys.

You are *so lucky* to live near a pawn shop like that! The one's in this town are all over the internet like a hobo on a ham sandwich. No good deals at all as they usually list things locally for little more than the avg Ebay sale price, just to see if they can snag a sucker.
