Silly thought

So I had a silly thought. I saw BassCliff said half-joking "FriendFace" in another thread, and I realized he's probably an IT type-person in real life, just like me. (Friendface is from Season 3 of a British TV show "The IT Crowd").

So I got to thinking, "I'd bet there's a lot of bassists that like the same TV shows I do". So with no real reason other than it seemed like the right thing to do at the time, I decided to do a poll of bass players favorite CARTOONS.

I went with Looney Tunes, and I reckon a lot of the more 'mature' on here will too.
I absolutely hated Beavis And Butthead when that came out.
I think Rick and Morty is absolute drivel.
I do like the Simpsons but wouldn't be too upset if I never saw another one.
Futurama has it's moments but not that many, from what I've seen of it.
Likewise with Family Guy.
I've only seen a few episodes of Animaniacs, but did really enjoy them.
Brickleberry I've never seen, but I just watched half of episode 1 on youtube, and that's all I'll be ever watching of that one.

Also, you missed King Of The Hill...

Fun poll, looking forward to seeing how this develops.

I am a big cartoon and anime fan. All of the cartoons listed I have watched and some of the many times over. Bevis and Butthead I liked but moreover was how they edited the songs/videos they watched which I thought was done nicely. From Looney Tunes to Rick and Morty I have enjoyed them all. Except King of the Hill! I cannot stand that show. Even when Dusty Hill from ZZ Top appeared on it. That show was a waste of paper!!!! The theme song is good though. But when I hear it now I just cringe and change the channel after the theme is over.

I loved Beavis and Butthead when it first came out...imagine at age 15 you start a garage band, do the high school dance gigs, etc, working hard, developing your chops and writing songs, skip college and go to LA to make it and five years later a friend with one of those new fangled Beta-cams says he will do a video for you. 3 months later he tells you the band will be on MTV.:hyper: You ask when...11:30 PM EST. You stay up to find out that you are on Beavis and Butthead...Beavis says you would be better if you practiced more and Butthead screams that you s##k and to change the channel. So much for the dream. :(
