Bullwinkle Uber Alles

I can't believe I forgot Bullwinkle!!!

I also include Tom Slick, Super Chicken, George of the Jungle, and Mr. Peabody & Sherman.

EDIT: IIRC, Tom Slick, Super Chicken, and George of the Jungle were actually part of the Rocky & Bullwinkle Show.

EDIT 2: I noticed there's not a lot of love for the classic Hanna-Barbera cartoons in this thread. I guess they're overshadowed by the Warner Brothers gems.

Looney Tunes! They're probably not the same, but I'd also count Merrie Melodies in with the Looney Tunes series. They're kind of two sides of the same coin. Maybe the "Looney Tunes" choice in the vote could be changed to a more generic or more comprehensive "Warner Brothers / Looney Tunes / Merrie Melodies".

Whoah Talkbass, really showing your age again :smug:
Yep, I'm an old fart. Not as old as a lot of TB'ers, but still an old fart. Now get off my lawn, sonny!

:D ;)

So I had a silly thought. I saw BassCliff said half-joking "FriendFace" in another thread, and I realized he's probably an IT type-person in real life, just like me. (Friendface is from Season 3 of a British TV show "The IT Crowd").

So I got to thinking, "I'd bet there's a lot of bassists that like the same TV shows I do". So with no real reason other than it seemed like the right thing to do at the time, I decided to do a poll of bass players favorite CARTOONS.
youre rite about one thing, silly thought indeed ! :)

Phineas and Ferb is super clever. It's clever enough for me to watch with my girls and be entertained and goofy enough for them to be entertained even if they don't get all of the humor. It's the funniest show in the tri-state area! Agree with me or I'll shoot you with my Agree-inator! Then I will be the most agreed with person in the tri-state area!!!!
Bwahahahaha!

If Warner is the Beatles, H-B is the Monkees, or, on a good day, Herman's Hermits.

Rather than pay for (another) "digital-plus-platinum-whiz-bang" service-upgrade, I cut off the cable TV in 2007, and devoted my free time to learning bass guitar.

I did the same thing!

But I use the added free time to visit web forums and post thinly veiled comments denigrating the interests of others while complimenting myself and my remarkable will power. ;)
