Double Bass simple and inexpensive option for doubling?

I wonder if by the time you add the Sansamp Paradriver, Pro Plat, and Radial DI what that actually costs. Less than a Grace Felix for sure, but you're dealing with three boxes, connecting cords, and three power supplies, or batteries. Just my take. To each their own.

Boss Ls-2 set to the A/B mode. Ive been using it for all my doubling for years. Usually just set it on top of the amp and smack it when I want to switch.

Find a used one cheap and enjoy.

i really like the sound of my basses straight into my amp. my AI head has all the controls i need. if i went the route of powered MAS speakers like some of you guys did, i'd have a Felix as well. One box, keep it simple.

The circuit diagram from the AI Series III manual shows the Ch 2 switch on a Coda is before the I/O bus that feeds the master out and DI. But only when the pre/post switch is set to post

Notice also that if you use the effects loop on Ch 2, it bypasses the switch, not to mention that if you use the onboard effects, the output of the effects for ch 2 will still be audible if you turn ch 2 off

If not already mentioned Radial Bassbone V2. The Headway EBD-2 is not made for 2 instruments rather for 2 pickups or 2 mics. Yay that they will be putting a FX loop on the new version. I love mine.

I just got the Schertler Stat-B from a TB'er and my setup is like this for doubling

stat-b/stat-b pre ->EBD2CH1
ATM350 or remic -> EBD2CH2->Bassbone CH1

Electric Bass-front effects-> Bassbone CH2

Bassbone Loop has reverb delay that I sometimes use for both instruments

Bassbone into Amp/Cab or powered speaker.
