i've just trolled 13 pages and found 15 songs that are in my bands set list.how bout 'pig bag'(can't remember the artist)and 'baggy trousers' by madness.

If it hasn't been mentioned yet, it should. It's everything the OP asked for.
I used to play this in a band with a female singer who NAILED the vocals - and everyone else in the band knew exactly what to play to make it sound authentic, but it was up to *ME* to keep that simple bass line precisely in the groove. I did it well, and the song was often the standout of many of our sets. Although it was the "simplest" line I ever played, it was the one that taught me the most about how much skill is required to do such a thing well. The spaces *not* played were even more important than the notes that were played.

Honestly, there aren't to many rage songs that AREN't bass oriented. That said, none of them are all that hard. having said that, without a face comes into mind

Also, even though it is kind of challenging in that it takes dexterity and notes go fast, the bass line is really simple:

Shake A Tail Feather - Blues Brothers feat. Ray Charles, Duck Dunn at bass

Honestly, there aren't to many rage songs that AREN't bass oriented.

I would say they're more RIFF (in the monolithic, all-caps sense) oriented than bass. Tim and Tom always play the same thing more or less except when Morello makes his weird sound fx.

Adam Clayton (U2) isn't my favourite bass player but he's a genius at creating simple basslines that make the song:
