my abnd recently went through the same thing, only the oldest members are 17 so only 2 memebers have their licences but this really isn't a hard decision, if he can't do what he tried out for and then blames you guys then I say kick the dufus out

Boot (but take eli's advice)
as you grow and gain experiance you will find that lead singers seem to suffer from LSD (lead singer's disease) which can take many forms
not all of them of course, some are wonderful people
i've put up with some clowns but ONLY because they were PHENOMENALLY talented
It's always hard to take a singer seriously (especially one who has been singing for quite some time) if they don't own their own PA

Nobody actually knows what position the thumb was for the "die" signal. Nor does anyone know if it required using a specific hand or a specific gesture. For all we know the gesture might be the same one used by MLB umpires signalling an out.
